They are a good wko, and I'm finding you don't get hurt from high reps everyday. That's the only one I've found. You start to feel like an ape, no joke, your arms and hands feel like hooks. I checked the results at crossfit.com, some people really got up there in numbers. One thing i couldn't figure out is how they got such sore hands from pullups, unless it is from a mixture WOD they did and I didn't see it..

depending on the person, they might have been kipping the pullups which i find is a bit harder on the hands.

And, man, i hear ya. im so sad i dont have access to a pullup bar at the moment, im doing huge amounts of rows tho... But, i def could use a pull up bar (a door pullup bar is a big no no here supposely... Sad ) Cant wait for winter to end lol, so i can have some fun doing pullups everyday in the kid park lol. But, this summer i plan on shoveling alot and using it as a workout (will be like inverse-sledge hammer on a tire lol). Rocky-style training.

You got a lot further then I did, nice work.

People get sore hands from kipping, there's way more friction going on.

Winter is gong to be long this year...last night was the third night in a row I told my wife I'm going to go insane, more insane Smile, with it getting dark so early.

I haven't tried to use the kip much. They must be really pushing themselves to get out the numbers.

I decided to try some power snatches today. I sure hope I didn't ruin my weekednd.

So the crossfit WOD called for 65lb power snatches....I loaded on 95lbs by accident...after years of lifitng I thought the bar weighed 15lbs today for some reason.

After 2 sets of 12 snatches and 10 pushups, I started to wonder if I had something wrong. 5 more sets and I was about falling down, my shirt was soaked with sweat, and the platform was covered in droplets.

Then I started adding up the weight...s#@#. I dropped it to 65lbs for one more set in the 20 minutes.

If I hold together I might start adding in some crossfit, as long as they don't have any running.

I like the comment section under each WOD on tcrossfit.com

Have a good weekend everybody. I'm headed to out for a weekend of hunting. It's going to be beautiful this weekend.

Funny that you are going hunting and it's beautiful - we are going to have a real shitty weekend so I am going to try to go hunting, best time out here is when it is pissing rain or snowing, if I am miserable, the deer will be to!

Isn't that the truth about the weather and deer movement. We've had so many days of crap weather. I just want to get out at sunrise and watch the rays light up all the ice crystals. If I see a few deer even better, I ran out of venison. Good uck this weekend.

I'm over 300 I think.

I was shaky in my knees from the snatches last week. I won't be doing that for with anything over 45lbs for a long time.

I shot 2 deer on Saturday evening, and I had to drag them out of the woods. It was a quad burning exercise, thats for sure. I got to spend a ton of time checking out the constellations while I was catching my breath. It was a great time.

And then, BBBBAAAAAARRRRRRFFFFFF, just kidding, I sure felt like it though.

My diet is on track to be shedding lbs., but it isn't happening. I have a feeling it'll start falling soon.
