Helen, why not just avoid visiting the baby until the flu season has passed. I know Doctors say the mercury in the vaccine won't cause any harm, however your body cannot eliminate mercury naturally so it stays in your system forever and with successive vaccines it accumulates. The risks outweigh the benefits as no one knows if the vaccine will work nor do they know the longterm side effects.

The baby lives in St. Louis, and I live in LA. This is my first niece!!! I have been in countdown mode since Easter when I found out!!! A herd of swine carrying the swine flu could NOT stop me from going over Christmas to see my little niece. I don't want the vaccines, but if not getting them prevents me from seeing her, I'll get as many as I need!!!!

Some information I got from a source on the subject....obviously everyone has the right to their own choices when it comes to vaccines....but you can never have too much information about them, from both sides......

The swine flu was a lab generated virus, but that's not what we need to be worried about as the swine flu itself has already gone through much of the east coast and Europe and is no more virulent then the regular flu. What we all need to be aware of is the fact that the swine flu vaccine is a mutated form of the 1918 flu, the swine flu and the avian flu. It is a very deadly live virus vaccine that will be responsible for creating a pandemic once injected into our children and health care workers since the virus is live and will be able to be transmitted to others for up to 3 weeks.
Please be aware of the truth as it won't be told on T.V. since there are billions of dollars at stake. This mutated form will not be easily recognized by the body and will kill many. Please reference the list below for added adjuvants and fillers included in this vaccine that can and will harm or kill many once injected into the system.

LIST OF VACCINE FILLERS & ADJUVENTS.
This list, officially administered by design with every vaccine provided to the public, in addition to the squalene that appears to be in this upcoming swine flu vaccine, is of great concern to many parents and grandparents, with the announcement that they will start vaccinating children and pregnant women first and then "wait to see if there are too many adverse events" (including seizures, neurological problems, and death).

In addition to the viral and bacterial RNA or DNA that is part of the vaccines, here are the fillers:

• Aluminum hydroxide - directly linked to causing Alzheimer's disease
• Aluminum phosphate - directly linked to causing Alzheimer's disease
• Ammonium sulfate - an inorganic chemical compound used as fertilizer and "protein purifier"; known to cause kidney & liver damage, gastrointestinal dysfunctions
• Amphotericin B - an "antifungal disinfectant" and anti-biotic, which damages the urinary tract, bowels, and heart functions
• Animal tissues (a causal element for all the various auto-immune diseases associated with vaccination) : horse blood, rabbit brain, dog kidney, monkey kidney, chick embryo, chicken egg, duck egg, pig blood, Porcine (pig) pancreatic hydrolysate of casein (the pig protein/tissue is of course an additional objectionable issue for Jewish and Muslim people)
• Calf (bovine) serum & fetal bovine serum
• Betapropiolactone
• Formaldehyde - used as "a preservative & disinfectant" , known to cause cancer, chronic bronchitis, eye irritation when exposed to the body's immune system
• Formalin
• Gelatin

• Monosodium glutamate (MSG) - now known to cause cancer in humans, also linked to obesity
• Neomycin (anti-biotic)

• Phenol red indicator - a highly toxic disinfectant dye, attributed to liver, kidney, heart & respiratory damage
• Phenoxyethanol (antifreeze) - proven to have extreme neurotoxic side effects
• Potassium diphosphate
• Potassium monophosphate
• Polymyxin B
• Polysorbate 20
• Polysorbate 80 – associated with infertility when injected
• Residual MRC5 proteins
• Sorbitol
• Sucrose
• Thimerosal (mercury) - a neurotoxin linked to psychological, neurological, & immunological problems—especially autism. Nervous system damage (such as sub-acute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE), brachial plexitis, post-vaccinal encephalitis, transverse myelitis and peripheral neuropathies) , kidney disease, birth defects, dental problems, mood swings, mental changes, hallucinations, memory loss, and inability to concentrate can occur. Symptoms also include tremors, loss of dermal sensitivity, slurred speech, and—in rare cases—even death and paralysis. This additive alone was the catalyst for another recent Class Action Lawsuit organized by mothers of children born with autism & the many related behavioral disorders associated with it. Autism is now occurring at levels never seen before in history; depending on the state, its rate is now 1 in 67 to 1 in 150. The autism rates used to be 1 in 20,000. Mercury may also be associated with the significantly increased rates of senility and Alzheimer's, which is associated with five or more successive flu vaccinations. Although most mercury (thimerosal) has been removed from children's vaccines, it is still in all flu vaccines at toxic doses.
• Tri(n)butylphosphate,
• VERO cells, a continuous line of monkey kidney cells - linked to the SV-40 virus known to cause leukemia

Some food for thought.....always be educated enough to understand all sides and not just what the doctors and governments tell you.

Most of this information is fully available on the internet...the public just simply don't know that it's there. I mean after all why would the majority of the general public go looking for it? The doctors tell you that you need your shots to be safe and healthy so why would you question them right....they are doctors after all.......?

In my opinion you need to be aware of all the facts...from both sides. It's your choice but it needs to be an informed one!

When has anyone in the history of conventional drugs ever stopped a doctor and asked them what exactly is in the shot they are about to administer? You just take it that it must be safe right? I bet my life savings that most if not all doctors out there wouldn't have a clue what they are injecting into you.

As for the source, my mother is a dietary therapist and alternative medicine practitioner and has access to a lot of this information. I told her about this thread and asked her if she had any info I could pass on. She works very closely with many ex "conventional" doctors as well and has a room FULL of hundreds of qualified books covering these kind of subjects.

Anyway, like I said, I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do, I'm merely presenting the side that doctors and the government don't tell you...or want you to know.

Just for the record I am 100% against any form of vaccination, my 9 year old has never had a shot and will not while under his mothers and my control.

I have an immune deficiency that I believe was caused by a tetanus shot when I was 13. When I lived in the US I cut my foot on a piece of glass and went to a clinic to get it stitched up. When they where done they asked we if I was right or left handed, I said right. So the nurse started rubbing my left shoulder and brought out this big needle. She all set to inject when I said 'hold on, can I ask what that is ?'. She said it is a tetanus shot just to be safe after cutting your foot. Glad I asked as they werent even going to say anything about it, they were just going to give it to me. You can imagine where I told her to put the needle !!!
